Consider Approval of Resolution No. 23-16, Approving <br /> Construction Services Contract with WSB &Associates <br /> VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Staff is requesting Council's consideration to accept bids, award a construction contract, and <br /> approve a construction services contract for the Watermark Park Project. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> On December 12, 2022,the City Council approved the plans and specifications and authorized <br /> the Advertisement For Bids. Eight bids were received and opened on February 7, 2023 as <br /> shown below: <br /> CONTRACTOR TOTAL BASE BID <br /> Dimke Excavating, Inc. $668,265.30 <br /> Peterson Companies $715,147.19 <br /> Rachel Contracting LLC $723,654.60 <br /> Veit& Company, Inc. $735,039.00 <br /> Meyer Contracting Inc. $740,547.18 <br /> GL Contracting, Inc. $850,733.40 <br /> Parkstone Contracting, LLC $1,112,808.00 <br /> LinnCo, Inc. $1,279,233.95 <br /> The low bid was submitted by Dimke Excavating, Inc. in the amount$668,265.30 and is being <br /> recommended for award. The engineer's estimate was $929,912.55. Funding has been <br /> identified through the Dedicated Parks Fund. <br /> The completion date for this project is October 31, 2023 <br /> WSB and Associates has submitted a proposal to complete the construction services for the <br /> Watermark Park Project in the amount of$93,454. <br />
