Planning & Zoning Board <br />September 14, 2022 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br /> <br /> Add Section 1007.066 (Rural Cluster) reference to the exemption for lots <br />under 10 acres in the General Parcel, Lot and Yard Provisions Section of the <br />ordinance. <br /> Fix two typos within the ordinance. <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Root declared the Public Hearing open at 7:54 p.m. <br /> <br />There was no one present for the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing at 7:54 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Wipperfurth. Motion carried 5 – 0. <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala said he would like to add fabric used for fence screening to only be <br />allowed at public recreational facilities. <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala in reference to the BC we currently can zone property as Industrial or <br />BC and that he would like to add Commercial use. This should eliminate the need for <br />a comprehensive plan amendment in some instances and would give the City the <br />ultimate discretion to say yes or no. He mentioned if a property is guided <br />Commercial someone could request a rezoning to Business. <br /> <br />The board agreed with Mr. Grochala. <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Root asked if the 9 line items should be combined and Mr. Laden <br />agreed they should be and everyone agreed. Vice Chairman Root also asked that the <br />vote include the 9 items discussed previously. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to recommend approve of the Zoning and Ordinance <br />update with the additions made by the Planning and Zoning Board. Mr. Evenson <br />supported the motion. Motion carried 5 – 0. <br /> <br /> <br />VII. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Project Updates <br /> <br />Staff provided verbal updates to the Board on current City projects. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Vojtech made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 8:06 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Laden. Motion carried 5 – 0. <br />
