<br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23-24 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE DELEGATED CONTRACT PROCESS FOR <br />FEDERALLY FUNDED PROJECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Delegated Contract Process (DCP) is an agreement between MnDOT and local <br />public agencies eligible to receive federal funds; and <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, The agreement outlines the roles and responsibilities associated with federal <br />aid funds and allows for MnDOT to act as a local agency’s agent in accepting these funds for <br />construction projects; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br /> <br />1. That pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the Commissioner of Transportation be <br />appointed as Agent of the City of Lino Lakes to accept as its agent, federal aid funds <br />which may be made available for eligible transportation related projects. <br />2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City <br />to execute and enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing <br />the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in <br />“Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency Agreement No. 1052220”, a copy of <br />which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of March, 2023. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Hannah Lynch, City Clerk
