COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> 1 <br /> 2 LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br /> 3 REGULAR MEETING <br /> 4 MINUTES <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 DATE : April 10,2023 <br /> 8 TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. <br /> 9 TIME ENDED : 6:48 p.m. <br /> 1 0 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Stoesz, Lyden, Ruhland, Cavegn, <br /> 11 Mayor Rafferty <br /> 12 MEMBERS ABSENT : None. <br /> 13 Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Public Services Director Rick <br /> 14 DeGardner; Community Development Director Michael Grochala; City Engineer Diane Hankee; <br /> 15 Director of Public Safety John Swenson; City Clerk Jolleen Chaika. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 18 There were no public comments. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 SETTING THE AGENDA <br /> 21 The agenda was approved as presented. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br /> 24 Oath of Police Service: Police Officer Zach Beddow <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Public Safety Director Swenson asked for a moment of silence for officers Emily Breidenbach and <br /> 27 Hunter Scheel who were killed during a traffic stop in Wisconsin. After the moment of silence, Mr. <br /> 28 Swenson noted he is honored to introduce Officer Beddow to the community and shared the <br /> 29 officer's history and background. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Mayor Rafferty led Officer Zach Beddow in the Oath of Police Service. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 34 Councilmember Ruhland moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1C as <br /> 35 presented. Councilmember Cavegn seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 ITEM ACTION <br /> 38 Consideration of Expenditures: <br /> 39 A) Consider Approval of Expenditures for April 10, 2023 <br /> 40 (Check No. 118353 through 118445) in the Amount of <br /> 41 $445,239.45 Approved <br /> 42 B) Consider Approval of March 27, 2023 Work Session Minutes Approved <br /> 43 C) Consider Approval of March 27„ 2023 Council Minutes Approved <br /> 44 <br /> 45 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 46 There was no report. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 <br /> 49 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> 1 <br />
