COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> APPROVED <br /> 1 <br /> 2 LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br /> 3 REGULAR MEETING <br /> 4 MINUTES <br /> 5 <br /> 6 DATE : November 23, 2020 <br /> 7 TIME STARTED : 6 :30 p. m. <br /> 8 TIME ENDED : 7 :24 p.m. <br /> 9 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Stoesz, Lyden , <br /> 10 Ruhland, Cavegn and Mayor Rafferty <br /> 11 MEMBERS ABSENT '.. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Director of Finance Hannah Lynch; <br /> 14 Director of Public Safety John Swenson ; Community Development Director Michael Grochala; City <br /> 15 Planner Katie Larsen; City Engineer Diane Hankee; Environmental Coordinator Andy Nelson; and <br /> 16 City Clerk Julie Bartell <br /> 17 <br /> 18 The council meeting was held telephonically on the Zoom Meeting platform and as allowed by <br /> G 19 Minnesota Statutes 13D .021 . <br /> 20 <br /> 21 PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 22 Terry and Karen Byron, 6375 Ware Road, asked that the City allow them to continue keeping <br /> 23 chickens at their property . They have had chickens there for thirty years on and off. They have <br /> 24 over an acre and a half with private well and sewer. Within the vicinity there are other farm <br /> 25 animals being kept. They are asking for permission to continue the use until they sell their home. <br /> 26 SETTING THE AGENDA <br /> 27 The agenda was approved as presented. <br /> 28 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 29 Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items IA through 1F as presented. <br /> 30 Councilmember Cavegn seconded the motion . Motion carried on a voice vote. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 ITEM ACTION <br /> 33 Consideration of Expenditures : <br /> 34 A) Consideration of Expenditures : November 23 , 2020 <br /> 35 (Check No . 113334 through 113449) in the <br /> 36 amount of $ 1 ,3895144.42 Approved <br /> 37 B) Consider Approval of November 2, 2020 Council <br /> 38 Work Session Minutes Approved <br /> 39 C) Consider Approval of November 9, 2020 Council <br /> 40 Minutes Approved <br /> 41 D) Consider Approval of November 9, 2020 Closed <br /> 42 Council Minutes Approved <br /> 1 <br />
