8/15/2023 <br />15 <br />Government Buildings <br />Base Budget <br />Salaries/Benefits of part-time custodial maintenance, Boiler Tech Endorsement, temporary seasonals, and <br />a portion of the Public Service Directors Salary/Benefits. <br />Professional Services supporting the repair of city buildings and components. <br />Insurance for all city buildings. <br />Electricity and Heat. <br />Contracted Services supporting pest control, office equipment maintenance, and garage door <br />maintenance. <br />2024 Adjustments to Base Budget <br />Personal Services increase to account for the maximum seasonal hourly rate. <br />Telephone increase due to phone and internet service price increases. <br />Postage increase due to the increased cost of postage. <br />Insurance increase due to the assumed increase in insurance rates. <br />Electricity increase to account for the 2021-2022 trend in cost. <br />Contracted Services decrease due to the elimination of the cleaning service. <br />Subscriptions and Dues increase to account for actual expenditures. <br />Parks <br />Base Budget <br />Salaries/Benefits of 4 General Maintenance Workers, Temporaries and Parks Supervisor. A <br />portion of the Public Services Director and Administrative Assistant Salaries/Benefits. <br />Maintenance Supplies including mulch, fencing, trees, sod, and dog waste bags. <br />Utilities, the cost of sewer and water. <br />Contracted Services- portable restrooms, stump removal, and irrigation and trail <br />repairs/replacement. <br />2024 Adjustments to Base Budget <br />Personal Services increase to account for the maximum seasonal hourly rate. <br />Utilities increase to account for actual expenditures for irrigation.
