8/29/2023 <br />15 <br />Electric Man Lift <br />New equipment is needed for the increase in maintenance points in the <br />ceilings and rafters. A man lift will allow for <br />safe access and maintenance on such things <br />as lights and HVAC equipment. <br />Pile Driver Plow <br />The parking lot snow removal process is growing with the increased square <br />footage of city owned parking lots to keep clear of ice and snow. The Public <br />Works Department is currently using tractors and front end loaders to <br />complete this process. This is not the most efficient and time effective way <br />to complete snow removal. <br />A specific type of plow designed for carrying snow is much better suited for <br />parking lot snow removal. Current plow equipment consists of straight and <br />directional blade plows designed to shed snow to the left or right as the <br />equipment moves forward. The plow needed is a 12’ Pile Driver Plow with <br />a 56” side plate designed to carry snow.
