<br /> <br />Wellness Enhancement Plan: <br /> <br /> Partner with Provicta to assist staff with wellness training, assessments, individualized <br />programming, and development of on-going wellness. <br /> Conduct mandatory department wide training (employee family members are welcome to <br />attend) provided by Provicta on wellness topics to provide a general foundation to <br />improve overall wellness. <br /> All department staff will be required to continue to participated in the Check Up From <br />the Neck Up program through LE-AST. <br /> Department staff will be able to volunteer to participate in individualized wellness <br />programing through Provicta that will provide one-on-one professional consultation on <br />overall health, nutrition, and movement screening twice a year. <br />o Licensed police staff who volunteer to participate in the one-on-one programing <br />will be required to participate in fitness assessments twice a year conducted by <br />Provicta. Provicta will maintain all individual employee data and only aggregate <br />data will be provided to the employer to monitor wellness programing <br />effectiveness. <br /> Develop and train three staff members from the Police and Fire Divisions to serve as <br />Department Wellness Coordinators with the responsibility to maintain and enhance the <br />department wellness program after the initial two-year Provicta engagement. <br /> <br />Goals: <br />1. Improve individual employee health and wellness. <br />2. Reduce the number of work related injuries. <br />3. Reduce the costs for work related injuries sustained my employer. <br />4. Utilize a data driven approach to wellness program in the Public Safety Department. <br />5. Expand one-on-one programing to all Public Safety Department staff. <br />
