Attached to this report is a guide to the PERA <br />Coordinated Plan. <br />In an effort to continue to recruit and retain part-time firefighter personnel, staff has recently <br />conducted a market study of the hourly rates of pay for part-time firefighter personnel in the <br />metro area and throughout the state. The study found that on average, part-time firefighters <br />were paid a starting wage of $15.61 per hour.
