1 <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 1E <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: February 12, 2024 <br />TOPIC: Board/Commission Appointments <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Each year, the City Council considers the appointment of Lino Lakes residents to serve on <br />various advisory boards and committees. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Openings for Lino Lakes Advisory Boards and Committees were advertised, applications were <br />received and reviewed, and interviews were conducted by City Council. Following the <br />interviews, the following applicants have been recommended for appointment: <br />Planning & Zoning Board: Three (3) vacancies, six (6) applications received <br />-Suzy Guthmueller <br />-Nate Vojtech <br />-Isaac Wipperfurth <br />Park Board: Two (2) vacancies, two (2) applications received <br />-Clark Gooder <br />-Jason Spitzer <br />Environmental Board: Two (2) vacancies, two (2) applications received <br />-John Sullivan <br />-Cassondra Cavegn <br />Economic Development Advisory Committee: Three (3) vacancies, five (5) applications <br />received: <br />-Andrew Cravero <br />-Chris Spenner <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Consider approval of appointments to the Lino Lakes Advisory Board and Committees as listed <br />above. <br />56
