<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6B <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: January 22, 2018 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Public Hearing: LaMotte Area Water System Extension <br /> <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The City Council is holding the Public Hearing on Improvements for the LaMotte Area Water <br />System Extension. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On December 11, 2018 the Council accepted the Amended Feasibility Report and called the <br />Public Hearing for the LaMotte Area Water System Extension. The Amended Feasibility <br />Report includes the scope of proposed improvements, a unit price cost estimate, a preliminary <br />assessment roll, and assessment analysis. <br /> <br />Staff will present the proposed LaMotte Area Water System Extension project. Council will <br />then open the Public Hearing on Improvements and receive comments from the public. After <br />the Public Hearing there is a 60 day period where a petition may be filed, and the Council may <br />take no action on the project. The 60 day period ends on March 23, 2018. The City staff are <br />planning on providing a petition template. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Open the Public Hearing on Improvements for the LaMotte Area Water System Extension. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
