<br />WS – Item 12 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 12 <br /> <br /> <br />Date: February 5, 2018 <br /> <br />To: City Council <br /> <br />From: Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director <br /> <br />Re: 2018 Parks and Trails Capital Projects Update, Rick DeGardner <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />As part of the City’s approved 2018 budget, the City Council designated $500,000 for <br />parks and trails capital projects. The City Council directed staff to seek input from the <br />Park Board for City Council consideration. <br /> <br />The Park Board began discussing this topic during their January 8, 2018 meeting and will <br />continue the conversation during the February, March, and April Park Board meetings. It <br />is anticipated the Park Board will submit their recommendation to the City Council for <br />consideration during the April 2 City Council work session. <br /> <br />The Park Board welcomes input from Lino Lakes residents during their February 5, <br />March 5, and April 2 meetings. Residents may also email their comments/suggestions to <br />rick.degardner@ci.lino-lakes.mn.us. The emails will be forwarded to all Park Board <br />members for review.
