He then presented an 60 <br />abbreviated PowerPoint presentation that included information on the following: 61 <br />- Certificate of Achievement for Financing Reporting 62 <br />- Follow up on 2016 Findings (both corrected); 63 <br />- 2017 Audit Process; 64 <br />- Reports Issued by Auditor; 65 <br />- Opinion on Finance Statements; 66 <br />- Report on Internal Controls; 67 <br />- Report on Minnesota Legal Compliance; 68 <br />- Communication to Those Charged with Governance. 69 <br />Mr. Hering noted that the audit process was smooth and there were no disagreements with staff. 70 <br />Overall the audit had great results. 71 <br />Council Member Maher moved to approve the 2017 Audit Report as presented. Council Member 72 <br />Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 73 <br /> 74 <br />ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT 75 <br />3A) Consider Resolution No. 18-71, Supporting Councilmember Stoesz’s Nomination 76 <br />to League of Minnesota Cities Board – Administrator Karlson explained that Council Member Stoesz 77 <br />has submitted an application to serve on the League of Minnesota Cities Board. A resolution in support 78 <br />of Mr. Stoesz’ appointment is before the council. 79
