COUNCIL MINUTES June 25, 2018 <br />DRAFT <br />4 <br />6B) Saddle Club Fourth Addition: i. Consider Second Reading of Ordinance No. 06-18, 130 <br />Rezoning Property from R-1, Single Family Residential to PUD, Planned Unit Development – 131 <br />City Planner Larsen reviewed the staff report briefly. This proposal was reviewed fully at the last 132 <br />council meeting. 133 <br /> 134 <br />Council Member Manthey moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 06-18 as presented. 135 <br />Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 136 <br /> 137 <br />Council Member Stoesz moved to approve the 2nd Reading and passage of Ordinance No. 06-18 as 138 <br />presented. Council Member Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. 139 <br /> 140 <br />6C) Consider Resolution 18-77, Accepting Quotes and Awarding a Construction Contract, 141 <br />2018 Street Maintenance (Reclamite) Project – City Engineer Hankee explained that staff is 142 <br />requesting that the council accept the single quote received for this program. 143 <br /> 144 <br />Council Member Stoesz noted that the quote came in below the estimate for the project. He wonders 145 <br />if that additional budgeted money could be used to extend the project in the area. Ms. Hankee said 146 <br />she would explore the possibility. 147 <br /> 148 <br />Council Member Maher confirmed with staff that the firms that did not offer quotes did so because 149 <br />they would not be able to provide the services/product requested. 150 <br /> 151 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 18-77 as presented. Council Member 152 <br />Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 153 <br /> 154 <br />6D) Consider Resolution No. 18-78, Resolution of Support Federal Funding for I-35E and 155 <br />County Road J Interchange and the Centerville Road and County Road J Intersection Project – 156 <br />City Engineer Hankee reviewed the written staff report recommending that the council approve a 157 <br />resolution in support of receiving federal funding to join with Ramsey County in efforts to improve 158 <br />this intersection/interchange. 159 <br /> 160 <br />Mayor Reinert remarked that if federal funds were received and a project were approved, there could 161 <br />be relief for traffic issues at these specific locations. 162 <br /> 163 <br />Council Member Manthey remarked that improvements in the areas would have a positive impact for 164 <br />many Lino Lakes’ residents. 165 <br /> 166 <br />Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 18-77 as presented. Council Member 167 <br />Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote 168 <br /> 169 <br />6E) Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 07-18, Amending City Code Section 1007 170 <br />Related Driveway Surfacing and Airplane Hangar and Hangar Access Performance Standards 171 <br />– Community Development Director Grochala reviewed the written staff report.
