1 <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 1F <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: March 25, 2024 <br />TOPIC: Resolution 24-21: Solicitor Permit, Legacy Restoration <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Legacy Restoration, located at 15350 25th Avenue North, Ste. 114, Plymouth, Minnesota has <br />submitted a solicitor’s permit application to the City Clerk’s office. <br />The company representatives proposed to conduct solicitation in Lino Lakes are: Rick Brambrink <br />and Jamiya Walker. <br />The company representatives plan to travel through Lino Lakes’ neighborhoods, going door-to- <br />door offering exterior renovations for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters and will offer free <br />exterior inspections to potential clients. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a Solicitor Permit. <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed the background checks and indicated no <br />reason to deny the application. <br />The application, along with all supporting documentation, is on file in the City Clerk’s office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 24-21, authorizing the issuance of a Solicitor Permit to Legacy <br />Restoration for a period of six (6) months, commencing March 26, 2024. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Resolution 24-21 <br />94
