Anoka County Contract No.C0009260 <br /> LANDSCAPING/STREETSCAPING: <br /> This provision on Landscaping/Streetscaping remains the same as stated in the original JPA, with the <br /> exception of the deadline by which construction documents must be submitted to the County prior to the <br /> advertisement of bids. The date of November 1,2022 is hereby amended to a new deadline as determined <br /> by mutual agreement of the parties. <br /> III. COSTS <br /> This Section III. on Costs is hereby amended to reflect the recalculation of costs for the City's <br /> share based upon updated costs and mutual negotiations. To the extent something in this section <br /> was omitted from the original JPA, or conflicts with the original JPA,the calculations and <br /> language in this amended Section III. shall control. <br /> The contract costs of the work, or if the work is not contracted, the cost of all labor, materials, normal <br /> engineering costs and equipment rental required to complete the work, shall constitute the "actual <br /> construction costs" and shall be so referred to herein. "Estimated construction costs" are good faith <br /> projections of the costs, which will be incurred for this project. Actual costs will vary and those will be <br /> the costs for which the relevant parties will be responsible <br /> The estimated construction cost of the total project is $3,642,432.04, and is shown in Exhibit`B". <br /> Federal funds available for the Project are capped at$3,462,038.00. The federal funds shall be split <br /> based on the ratio of eligible cost incurred by each party to the total eligible project cost. Eligible costs <br /> are the costs of items that can participate in federal funding as shown on Exhibit`B". <br /> The City's cost participation for acquiring the property at 6000 Hodgson Road, Lino Lakes, will be one- <br /> third of the total cost of acquisition of$530,000.00. The estimated cost to the City is $176,666.67. <br /> Site contamination of 6000 Hodgson Road, Lino Lakes, may be encountered when building demolition <br /> occurs. By mutual agreement of the parties,both the City and the County may negotiate cost sharing of <br /> non-federally funded site cleanup or soil correction. <br /> The County has secured a contract with Braun Intertec for professional services related to regulated <br /> materials removal and environmental construction monitoring oversight for 6000 Hodgson Road, Lino <br /> Lakes, for an amount not to exceed $41,467.00. The County will contribute up to $30,000 and the City <br /> will be responsible for the remainder of the contract. The City's share of the Braun contract will be <br /> billed separately and is not part of the cost share summary below since final contract costs are not yet <br /> known. <br /> The total estimated construction cost to the City is $693,758.91 (including construction of storm sewer, <br /> road, and other elements, and for mobilization and fixed costs; and prior to application of federal funds <br /> available). This cost includes additional contribution associated with the Lyngblomsten development <br /> located at the northwest quadrant of the Project. After federal funding percentage is applied,the estimated <br /> cost to the City for their share of the construction items of the Project is $138,751.78. <br /> The City's participation in construction engineering will be at a rate of eight percent (8%) of their <br /> designated construction share of$693,758.91. The estimated cost to the City for construction engineering <br /> is $55,500.71. <br /> 2 <br />
