CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24-57 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 24-37 ACCEPT BIDS, AWARDING A <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, 2024 REJUVENATOR PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2024 <br />Rejuvenator Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received; and <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 22nd, 2024 the City Council accepted bids, and awarded a <br />construction contract for the 2024 Rejuvenator Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the project is within the 60 day bid holding period and the Contract has not <br />been executed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined that the low bidder’s materials did not meet the project <br />specifications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the city to <br />rescind Resolution No. 24-37 accepting bids and awarding a construction contract for the 2024 <br />Rejuvenator Project. The low bidder has agreed to the revision, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota hereby <br />rescinds Resolution No. 24-37 entering into a contract with Allied Blacktop Company in the amount <br />of $110,464.00 for the construction of the 2024 Rejuvenator Project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED The City Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid Bonds made with their bids. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of May, 2024. <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Contractor Base Bid <br />Allied Blacktop Company $110,464.00 <br />Corrective Asphalt Materials $191,109.00 <br />136
