2 <br /> <br />An Anoka County regional trail is planned to run along Main Street. This needs to be <br />accommodated as part of the project development, as well as a trail on Sunset Avenue. Trail <br />connections to the existing internal trail system should be provided. The developer has <br />incorporated a link from the northwest corner of the site. Connections will also need to be <br />added mid-block of the north road running parallel to Main Street, from Century Trail to the <br />trail section shown running along the gas line easement, and to the eastern perimeter of the <br />site. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />1. Park Dedication cash in lieu of land. Dollars will be designated for development of <br />Century Farms North Park. Credit for the private park and trail construction to be <br />determined. <br />2. Trail Connections to incorporate into the design: <br />a. The future Anoka County Regional Trail along the south side of Main Street <br />should be depicted. <br />b. A connection to the future Anoka County regional trail is needed midblock of the <br />north road running parallel to Main Street. <br />c. A trail is needed along Sunset Avenue. <br />d. Extend the existing trail adjacent to 7836 Century Trail across the ditch and along <br />the power line easement to proposed internal trails. <br />e.
