Consider 1st Reading of Ordinance No. 05-24, Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment- <br />Building Type and Construction <br />City Planner Katie Larsen presented to the Council the first reading of a proposed zoning <br />ordinance text amendment related to building type and construction. In January 2024, <br />424 Apollo Drive formally appealed staff’s interpretation of the zoning code related to <br />building type and construction and exterior wall finished. Staff and the Planning & <br />Zoning Board recommended reclassifying Masonry Stucco from Class 2 to Class 3. Staff <br />also recommended amendments to clarify that primary material requirements apply to <br />each exterior wall. <br />i. Motion to: Dispense with Full reading of Ordinance 05-24 <br /> <br />ii. Motion to: Approve First Reading of Ordinance 05-24 <br /> <br />C. Ordinance No. 06-24, Vacating Drainage & Utility Easement, 202 Elm Street <br />City Engineer Diane Hankee requested Council consideration of Ordinance 06-24 to <br />vacate a drainage and utility easement at 202 Elm Street. The property owner would like <br />to vacate a portion of the easement where the existing concrete slab is located and <br />plans to construct a 16x20 building in this location. <br />i.
