CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24-92 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF WHITE <br />BEAR FOR SEWER AND WATER SERVCE AT 5801 BALD EAGLE BOULEVARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 5801 Bald Eagle Boulevard is a vacant parcel along the south and <br />eastern boarder of Lino Lakes where it abuts with the Town of White Bear (WBT). The <br />City of Lino Lakes does not have municipal utilities in that area of the City, and does not <br />plan to extend them in the near future, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town of White Bear has mainline sewer and water down Hobe <br />Court and has extended sewer and water service to the property located at 5801 Bald <br />Eagle Boulevard; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owner of 5801 Bald Eagle Boulevard desires to connect to <br />the Town of White Bear sewer and water and has agreed to reimburse them for <br />connection and use charges; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. § 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the state to <br />enter into joint powers agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />approves the Joint Powers Agreement with the Town of White Bear for a Sewer and <br />Water Service connection at 5801 Bald Eagle Blvd. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby <br />authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of July, 2024. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Roberta Colotti, City Clerk
