Councilmember Lyden thanked the Fire Department for making the deal happened, <br />noting that it was a win/win as the City of Brooklyn Center would be purchasing the <br />truck for their fleet. <br />The Community Development Director provided an overview of the item on the agenda <br />this evening accepting the offer of the Minnesota Public Facility Authority to Purchase <br />General Obligation Revenue Note and Authorize Execution of Project Loan Agreement. <br />He noted that Kennedy and Graven would be preparing the documents. <br />The Council highlighted that the city received a low interest rate for the loan and <br />confirmed that it was a 20-year term. <br />The City Engineer provided an overview of the 2025 Street Reconstruction and Sewer <br />and Water Extension Project, providing information on the project area. She reported <br />that the 60-day period to submit a petition against the project has passed. The City did <br />not receive a valid petition against the project. There was a petition in favor of the <br />project. The next step is design and bidding. The City will need to do a Comprehensive <br />Plan amendment for Colonial Woods. <br />The Community Development Director provided an overview of the Main Street <br />Corridor Master Plan and AUAR service contract agreement. Kimley Horn is the <br />identified consultant, and they are a national design firm. He reviewed the plan for <br />community involvement that is central to the proposal. <br />The Community Development Director provided background information on the <br />proposed agreement with WSB for right-of-way acquisition services for the Otter Lake <br />Road extension. He noted that eight parcels are included. He reviewed the funding <br />options. He noted that this would be a regional road. <br />4.
