10 <br />Spargur Estates meets the goals of the housing plan by supporting in-fill housing. <br />Economic Development <br />The three (3) lot single family residential development does not negatively impact the <br />City’s economic development plan. <br />Transportation Plan <br />A goal of the transportation plan is to ensure that streets are as safe as possible. Arlo <br />Lane is a minor collector street and has capacity for two (2) single family detached <br />dwellings. <br />Local Water Management Plan <br />The purpose of the water management program is to protect, preserve, and use natural <br />surface and groundwater storage and retention systems and prevent erosion of soil into <br />surface water systems. <br />Spargur Estates protects the natural surface and groundwater storage with the <br />construction of a small rear yard depression. Erosion and sediment control practices will <br />also be implemented. <br />Sanitary Sewer Plan <br />The goal of the sanitary sewer plan is to maintain the city’s residents and businesses <br />with an affordable and safe sanitary sewer system. <br />The existing house is served by an 8” municipal sanitary sewer main along Lois Lane. The <br />two (2) new lots will be served by 8” municipal sanitary sewer along Arlo Lane. <br />The existing sanitary sewer system has capacity for two (2) new single family detached <br />dwellings. <br />Water Supply Plan <br />A goal of the water supply plan is to provide residents and businesses with affordable <br />potable water that is safe and of high quality for daily consumption and fire demand. <br />The existing house is served by an 8” municipal watermain along Lois Lane. The two (2) <br />new lots will be served by 8” municipal watermain along Arlo Lane. <br />The existing water supply system has capacity for two (2) new single family detached <br />dwellings.
