facility with vehicle storage, vehicle maintenance, and office space, with parking lots, <br />commodity bins, access roads, community meeting space, site work, and utilities. It is <br />anticipated that the new facility will include community meeting space to accommodate <br />election precinct operations, senior events, educational and training functions. The expected <br />budget for this project is $16,400,000. <br />The city would prefer demolition of the existing facility and construction of an all new facility on <br />the site. Site constraints may require the relocation of city park facilities as part of the design <br />and construction. The new facility is planned to be substantially completed by December 31, <br />2026. <br />3. Scope of Work <br />The City of Lino Lakes is searching for a Firm that will complete A/E design and construction - <br />related services through the completion of the project construction. The scope of services shall <br />include and be broken out into the following phases - conceptual planning and cost estimating, <br />preliminary site/building layouts, final design, preparation of construction documents, (plans, <br />specifications, bidding, and contract documents, etc.), bidding administration, and construction <br />administration for the following: <br />• Architectural <br />• Structural Engineering <br />• Mechanical Engineering (Plumbing/fire protection/HVAC) <br />• Electrical Engineering (Including low -voltage rough -in) <br />• Furnishings, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) design and specifications <br />• Landscape Architecture <br />• Site surveying and Civil site engineering will be provided, as required, by the City's Consulting <br />Engineering Firm WSB & Associates. <br />4. General Instructions <br />Each Proposal should be clearly marked "PROPOSAL FOR ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES — LINO LAKE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITIES" <br />A. All proposals should be sent and all questions and correspondence should be directed to the <br />City of Lino Lakes, Michael Grochala, Community Development Director (651-982-2427) at 600 <br />Town Center Parkway Lino Lakes, MN 55014 <br />B. All proposals must be received at the City offices no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, December <br />14th, 2024 and include six (6) hard copies and one electronic (PDF) copy. The copies shall be <br />sealed and clearly identified with "Architectural and Engineering Services for a Public Works <br />Facility RFP" by the submittal deadline. <br />C. Proposals must be signed by an authorized representative of the company. <br />
