Article 17: Insurance <br />Section 17.1 Health <br />Update the language as follows: <br />• Health: Effective January 1, 2025, the Employer will contribute 100% ($644.47) of the monthly <br />base single premium and $1,291.33 toward the monthly base family premium. <br />• Effective January 1, 2026, the Employer will contribute 100% of the base single plan and <br />$1,291.33 plus 50% of the 2026 premium increase toward the base family plan. <br />Article 18: Compensation <br />Section 18.1 Wage <br />Update the language as follows: <br />• The wage schedule reflects a 3% general wage increase/COLA plus a 4% market adjustment <br />effective January 1, 2025 and a 3% general wage increase/COLA plus a 3% market adjustment <br />effective January 1, 2026. <br />• Police Sergeant Wage Schedule - Change the Step headings from Start through Step 9 to Step 1 <br />through Step 10. <br />• Police Training Officer (PTO) — Sergeants assigned to perform the duties of a PTO during the <br />integration, field training, or assessment phases will receive 1.5 hours of compensatory time per <br />shift. <br />• Instructor Pay — Sergeants assigned to perform the duties of a use of force instructor or a <br />firearms instructor during an employer -scheduled in-service training session will receive 1.5 <br />hours of compensatory time per shift. <br />When determining eligibility for PTO and Instructor Pay, a shift is defined as an assignment of 4 <br />hours or more. Sergeants are not eligible for PTO or Instructor Pay when working an overtime <br />shift and are not eligible for both PTO and Instructor Pay during the same shift. <br />• Availability Pay — Sergeants will be provided an hourly stipend of $0.81 in 2025 and $0.83 in <br />2026 as compensation for being available to take phone calls and emails related to department <br />business during off -duty hours. This stipend increases by any annual general wage <br />increase/COLA. <br />Article 22: Clothing Allowance <br />Section 22.1 <br />Update the language as follows: <br />• The annual clothing allowance will be equal to the annual general wage increase/COLA, which is <br />$966.68 in 2025 and $995.68 in 2026. <br />Article 27: Duration <br />Update the language to reflect a 2-year contract as follows: <br />• This Agreement shall be effective January 1, 2025 and shall remain in full force and effect until <br />December 31, 2026. <br />Appendix A: M.O.A. Regarding Firefighter Stipend <br />• Union is aware of the City conducting a Police and Fire Study and the potential change in <br />the Public Safety organizational structure.
