Article 19: Insurance <br />Section 19.1 Health <br />Update the language as follows: <br />Health: Effective January 1, 2025, the Employer will contribute 100% of the premium toward the <br />base single plan of $644.47 and $1,291.33 toward the base family plan. <br />Effective January 1, 2026, the Employer will contribute 100% of the base single plan and <br />$1,291.33 plus 50% of the 2026 premium increase toward the base family plan. <br />Section 19.3 Dental <br />• Update the language as follows: <br />Dental: The Employer agrees to pay 100% of the single premium for monthly dental insurance <br />coverage. The Employer agrees to deduct the difference between the Employer's contribution <br />of 100% of the single premium and the employee's contribution towards either single plus one <br />or family coverage from each employee's salary and forward the total premium to the Dental <br />Plan Administrator. <br />Article 23: Clothing Allowance <br />Section 23.1 <br />• Update the language as follows: <br />The Employer agrees to provide each new employee with all required uniforms and equipment. <br />After one year of service, each full-time employee will be credited with a prorated uniform <br />allowance on their anniversary date and then receive a full uniform allowance on January 1st <br />each year thereafter. The annual clothing allowance will be equal to the general wage <br />increase/COLA, which is $966.68 in 2025 and $995.68 in 2026. <br />Article 24: Wages <br />Update the wage matrix as follows: <br />3% general wage increase/COLA plus a 4% market adjustment effective January 1, 2025. <br />3% general wage increase/COLA plus a 3% market adjustment effective January 1, 2026. <br />Change the Step headings from Start through Step 6 to Step 1 through Step 7 <br />Update the language as follows: <br />Police Training Officer (PTO): Officers assigned to perform the duties of a PTO during the <br />integration, field training, or assessment phases will receive 1.5 hours of compensatory time per <br />shift. <br />Instructor Pay: Officers assigned to perform the duties of a use of force instructor or a firearms <br />instructor during an employer -scheduled in-service training session will receive 1.5 hours of <br />compensatory time per shift. <br />When determining eligibility for PTO and Instructor Pay, a shift is defined as an assignment of 4 <br />hours or more. Officers are not eligible for PTO or Instructor Pay when working an overtime shift <br />and are not eligible for both PTO and Instructor Pay during the same scheduled shift. <br />Article 29: Duration <br />Update the language to reflect a 2-year contract as follows: <br />This Agreement shall be effective as of the 1st of January 2025 and shall remain in full force and <br />effect until the 31st day of December 2026. <br />
