Lino Lakes City Council <br />Work Session <br />Minutes <br />DATE: November 12, 2024 <br />TIME STARTED: 6:00 P.M. <br />TIME ENDED: 6:20 P.M. <br />LOCATION: Community Room <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Rafferty, Councilmembers Cavegn, Lyden, Stoesz and Ruhland <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: None <br />Staff Members Present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton, City Clerk Roberta Colotti, Community <br />Development Director Michael Grochala, City Planner Katie Larsen, Public Safety Director John <br />Swenson, Police Captain William Owens, Finance Director Hannah Lynch, HR & Communication <br />Manager Meg Sawyer, Engineer Diane Hankee, Public Works Superintendent Justin Williams, <br />and Public Services/Parks & Recreation Director Rick DeGardner. <br />1. Call to Order and Roll Call <br />Mayor Rafferty called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />2. Setting the Agenda: Addition or Deletion of Agenda Items <br />The agenda was adopted as presented. <br />3. Review Regular Agenda <br />The City Council reviewed the regular meeting agenda including the following items. <br />Finance Director reviewed that the 2025 fee schedule was being presented for second <br />reading/adoption this evening. <br />The HR & Communications Manager reviewed that the City Administrator's last day is <br />November 15th, and the Interim Administrator is scheduled to start on November 18tn <br />Administrator Cotton reported that she has a transition meeting scheduled this week <br />with the incoming Interim Administrator. <br />The HR & Communications Manager provided a status report on the labor negotiations. <br />The City Administrator noted that a tentative agreement has been reached with three of <br />the four unions. <br />The HR & Communications Manager reviewed the Paid On -Call Firefighter and Paid On - <br />call Fire Lieutenant appointments scheduled for this evening. <br />Pagel of 3 <br />
