CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24-164 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTAND WITH VADNAIS <br />LAKE AREA WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION AND NORTH OAKS <br />COMPANY FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE WILKINSON LAKE FEASIBILITY STUDY <br />WHEREAS, Wilkinson Lake has been identified by the MPCAto be impaired for excess <br />nutrient loading; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is proposing to partner with the land owner adjacent <br />to Wilkinson Lake and Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization (VLAWMO) to <br />complete a feasibility study of stormwater best management practices (BMP') for nutrient <br />reduction; and <br />WHEREAS, the VLAWMO has funding available to assist with the study; and <br />WHEREAS, the North Oaks Company (NOC), property owner, has funding and land <br />available to assist with the study and future BMP construction; and <br />WHEREAS, ISG, inc has submitted a proposal to complete the study for a not to exceed <br />amount of $38, 780.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposed share of the project cost is $11,061; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that <br />hereby approves the MOU with the VLAWMO and NOC and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute <br />the agreement on behalf of the City. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9t" day of December, 2024. <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Roberta Colotti, CIVIC, City Clerk <br />
