Planning & Zoning Board <br />November 13, 2024 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />The applicant, Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes, LLC, submitted a Land Use Application for <br />PUD Amendment #2 to the PUD Preliminary Plan and Final Plan. They are requesting the <br />proposed fence along the north lot line not be required. They are also requesting a <br />pickleball court be constructed in the southwest corner of the development. Part of the <br />amendment would be to change the skilled nursing wing from a 2 story building to a 3 <br />story building. They would also be adding additional parking on site. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden asked if there was a story requirement for the commercial part of the <br />development. Ms. Larsen said they would have put a maximum height but does not <br />know what that was. Mr. Laden requested looking into the minimum height <br />requirement. He also requested Council request relocation of the pickle ball court with <br />this proposal. Mr. Evenson is in favor of the building. <br /> <br />Judd Fenlon, 90 Dale St S, St Paul, MN 55102, is a real estate advisor who works with <br />Lyngblomsten. Mr. Fenlon said the skilled nursing unit is an important component to <br />the facility. He discussed the decision to reconfigure the size and location of the <br />building to accommodate the needs of the residents and their visiting families. Mr. <br />Fenlon said in addition to the additional parking lot outside, there would be a parking <br />garage under the building. <br /> <br />7. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A.
