CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala called the Economic Development Advisory Committee meeting to order at <br />8:00 a.m. on October 10, 2024. <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Cravero made a motion to approve the September 5, 2024 meeting minutes. Motion <br />was supported by Mr. Kohler. Motion carried 7 - 0. <br /> <br />3. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Lino Retail 2.0, Java Companies Amendment to Purchase Agreement, Rezoning, <br />Preliminary Plat, CUP <br />In September of 2023, the City entered into a purchase agreement with Java Companies <br />for the sale of 2.24 acres located at the corner of Lake Drive and 77th Street. Mr. Grochala <br />explained that Java Companies has proposed an amendment to the purchase agreement <br />to provide additional time for approvals. Mr. Grochala reviewed the proposed <br />amendment along with the site plan for the project. <br />Mr. LaCroix questioned if there was going to be enough parking. Mr. Grochala said P & Z <br />had the same concerns and he said there is an adequate number of stalls and more than <br />what is required. Mr. LaCroix also asked about structured parking and Mr. Grochala said it <br />was too expensive in this area.
