<br />The low bid was submitted by GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, MN in the base bid
<br />amount of $906,493.91 and bid alternate amounts totaling $290,537.23 for a total project
<br />cost of $1,197,031.00. The base bid and bid alternate amount is within the annual street
<br />improvement budget and is being recommended for award.
<br />The estimated total project cost is $1,450,000.00. Funding for the project is expected to be
<br />from the Pavement Management Fund, and Water Operating Fund.
<br />The substantial completion date which includes the first lift of paving is August 29, 2025 and the
<br />final completion date for this project is October 30, 2025.
<br />WSB LLC has submitted a proposal to complete the construction services for the 2025 Street
<br />Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $93,880.00.
<br />RECOMMENDATION
<br />Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 25-19, Accepting the Bid and Awarding a
<br />Construction Contract for 2025 Street Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $1,197,031.00 to
<br />GMH Asphalt Corporation, and adoption of Resolution No. 25-20, Approving the Construction
<br />Services Contract with WSB LLC. for the 2025 Street Rehabilitation Project, in the amount of
<br />$93,880.00.
