Lino Lakes City Council Minutes <br />She stated that an email had been sent to the Mayor on the matter and requested that it be <br />added to the public record along with her public comment this evening. <br />Chris Stowe, 426 Pine Street, Lino Lakes, spoke about 10-22-32. He stated that dredging work <br />had been done by Rice Creek Watershed. He reviewed the current condition of the drainage <br />system. He outlined the flooding concerns for his property, noting that it impacts his livelihood. <br />He expressed his concerns with the proposed development in the area and the impact that it will <br />have on the drainage system. He stated that he has spoken with Rice Creek Watershed and is <br />sharing his concerns this evening to put the City on notice. <br />Delight DeMulling, 875 Lois Lane, Lino Lakes, reported that she had received a detailed response <br />from the City staff regarding her previous public comment question about federal funding that <br />the City received. She stated that that regarding the state public safety funding that was pending, <br />the impact of federal funding on the state may in turn impact the state's ability to fund local <br />grants. <br />Ms. DeMulling suggested that the promotion for Night to Unite be updated regarding bullet <br />number in the city newsletter, "Building relationships with your neighbors, which allows you to <br />get to know one another and determine who belongs in your neighborhood" be amended. She <br />suggested removing the last part of the sentence and just have it state building relationships with <br />your neighbors, which allows you to get to know one another. <br />Sam Bennett, 6841 Lakeview Drive, Lino Lakes, reviewed the proposed improvement along Red <br />Maple Lane. He outlined that reducing the roadway would reduce costs and allow for the <br />preservation of more trees along the project area.
