MnDOT Letter dated May 14, 2025 <br />DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION <br />May 14, 2025 <br />Katie Larsen <br />City Planner <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />600 Town Center Parkway <br />Lino Lakes, MN 55014 <br />SUBJECT: Clearwater Commons and Chipotle <br />MnDOT Review #P25-020 <br />NW quad of 135E and Main St (CSAH 14) <br />Lino Lakes, Anoka County <br />Dear Katie Larsen, <br />Metropolitan District <br />Waters Edge Building <br />1500 County Road B-2 West <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />Plats <br />The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has reviewed the preliminary plat for Clearwater <br />Commons and Chipotle, in compliance with Minnesota Statute 505.03, subdivision 2, Plats. MnDOT has the <br />following comments: <br />Water Resources <br />A MnDOT drainage permit may be required before development occurs. The permit applicant shall demonstrate <br />that the off -site runoff entering MnDOT drainage system(s) and/or right of way will not increase. The drainage <br />permit application, including the information below, should be submitted online to: <br />https://olpa.dot.state.mn.us/0LPA/. Please upload this letter with the drainage permit application. <br />The following information must be submitted with the drainage permit application: <br />1. Grading plans, drainage plans, and hydraulic calculations demonstrating that proposed flows to MnDOT <br />right of way remain the same as existing conditions or are reduced. <br />2. Existing and proposed drainage area maps with flow arrows and labeling that corresponds with the <br />submitted calculations. <br />3. Hydro CAD model and PDF of output for the 2, 10, and 100-year Atlas 14 storm events. <br />Once a drainage permit application is submitted, a thorough review will be completed and additional <br />information may be requested. Please contact Jason Swenson, Water Resources Engineering, at <br />iason.swenson@state.mn.us or 651-234-7539 with any questions. <br />Transit <br />Route 275 travels on 21st Ave to a park -and -ride just north of the development site. This may have impacts to <br />transit operations, and we recommend you inform Metro Transit of this project. <br />Please coordinate with Metro Transit at the following email address if there are any impacts to bus stops in the <br />area: Transit-BUsODs-StreetSup-AssistManaeers(cDmetc.state.mn.us. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
