- -4 <br />ELK RIVER PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION <br />ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA <br />RJM Construction served as the construction manager for the City <br />of Elk River for its new, state-of-the-art public works facility. This <br />project was designed to enhance the city's operational capabilities <br />and provide modern, functional spaces for vehicle maintenance, <br />equipment storage, and administrative activities. <br />The facility includes extensive indoor vehicle storage space, <br />ensuring that fleet vehicles are protected from the elements and <br />readily accessible for use. A multi -bay vehicle maintenance area <br />was constructed, equipped with advanced features such as vehicle <br />lifts, an overhead crane, lube reels, and air compression hoses, <br />all designed to streamline maintenance operations and improve <br />efficiency. Additionally, the facility features administrative offices <br />and a lunchroom, offering comfortable and practical spaces for staff <br />,,,,to conduct their daily activities and take breaks. <br />Externally, the site was further developed to support the facility's <br />operations and create a more user-friendly environment. Outdoor j <br />break areas were added to enhance employee well-being, providing <br />spaces for relaxation and recreation. A new salt shed store structure <br />was also constructed, offering secure, dedicated storage for road <br />salt and ensuring the city's readiness for winter road maintenance, <br />
