Construction Management Approach
- Safety: At RJM, safety is one of our top priorities. We believe that safety, quality,
and productivity are all interconnected. That's why we have a comprehensive
program to ensure that we prioritize safety on every project.
- Insurance: We understand that unforeseen challenges can arise during any
project. That's why we maintain a combination of insurance policies tailored to
the needs of both the construction industry and our clients.
- Ongoing service and maintenance: Our service team provides routine service,
preventative maintenance, and everything in between to ensure that your
building or space remains in top condition. This proactive approach to the health
and quality of your environment helps minimize unforeseen challenges and
safeguards your long-term investment.
QUALITY CONTROL
For the Lino Lakes Public Works Facility Project, RJM will develop a custom quality
control plan. We rigorously monitor the quality of materials and installation
procedures starting from the design phase. To enhance quality assurance, we
recommend a third -party review for critical components.
Our team includes a dedicated Director of Quality Control, who focuses on reviewing
the project's critical details and conducting pre -installation conferences with
contractors to set quality expectations and best practices. During these meetings, we
review approved submittals, analyze systems, and discuss critical work sequencing.
These proactive sessions effectively mitigate issues before they arise, ensuring
smooth project progression.
RJM's comprehensive quality control process includes daily checklists and stringent
contractor selection criteria, ensuring successful project delivery that meets or
exceeds client expectations. Led by our Director of Quality Control, Mike Johnson, our
team ensures meticulous oversight of project details and adherence to specifications.
Pre -installation conferences are pivotal, providing a platform to align expectations
with contractors. We review approved submittals, assess mock-up systems, and
meticulously plan work sequencing to preempt potential issues, ensuring seamless
project execution.
We implement comprehensive planning systems and regular executive check -ins to
drive project success. This meticulous planning begins in the preconstruction phase,
focusing on site logistics, defining work scopes, procuring long -lead materials, and
collaborating closely with clients on Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) and
move schedules.
Throughout construction, we conduct detailed schedule reviews and task validations
to maintain alignment with project requirements. Our systematic approach
emphasizes robust document control, ensurh II design and c io ents-- -
are current, accurate, and accessible to all sta e Iders.
We believe that our comprehensive quali con I process, u
installation conferences, daily checklists, an ringen ntractor selects ia,
is essential to delivering a successf I oject at meets exceeds ou clie
expectations.
no Les'RFP - Public Works Bu-ik \ 19
