Construction Management Approach
providing advance notice to nearby residents and businesses about the construction
schedule, and establishing clear signage and barriers to redirect pedestrian traffic
away from the demolition site and ensure their safety. RJM will hold regularly
scheduled disruption avoidance coordination meetings to review any upcoming
changes that will impact the facility. The City can then utilize this documentation to
communicate with staff and the public proactively.
Additionally, efforts should be made to minimize dust, debris, and other potential
hazards generated during site grading/demolition. This may involve implementing
dust control measures such as spraying water on the site to reduce airborne dust,
using barriers or screens to contain debris, and regularly cleaning up debris to prevent
it from spilling onto public pathways.
Furthermore, proactive communication with the community is essential to address
any concerns or issues that may arise during the construction process. This may
involve setting up a dedicated hotline or email address for residents to report any
disruptions or safety concerns, as well as holding regular meetings or open houses to
update the community on the progress of the demolition and address any questions
or feedback they may have.
MAINTAINING PROJECT BUDGET
STRATEGIC BUDGETING AND SCHEDULING WITH RISK
MANAGEMENT EXPERTISE
On all projects listed, RJM collaborated with project stakeholders from the outset
to establish a comprehensive budget and create a schedule tailored to planned city
operations and the availability of construction materials. This early engagement
enables a seamless alignment of project goals while addressing logistical complexities
to ensure efficient progress.
RJM employs a proven process that incorporates interim checkpoints at each risk
reduction milestone. These checkpoints provide an opportunity to thoroughly
assess the project's alignment with the established schedule and budget, fostering
transparency and proactive management throughout the project lifecycle. In the
event of potential delays or unforeseen issues, these milestones play a critical role in
identifying challenges early and enabling the development of recovery plans. These
plans are designed to mitigate impacts, maintain project continuity, and uphold key
project parameters without exceeding predefined limits.
This structured approach reflects RJM's commitment to delivering projects that
prioritize precision, adaptability, and the needs of our stakeholders, ensuring
successful outcomes in even the most dynamic environments.
ENHANCING PROJECT SUCCESS WITH S R TEGIC OPTI
THE CITY COUNCIL l
The most successful projects are those wr
with a comprehensive range of options at
the design phase, where the Oertel'-(ea
