CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 3C <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad - Osterhues, Deputy City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: November 25, 2013 <br />TOPIC: Liquor Compliance Violation <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council held a hearing on November 25, 2013 commencing at 6:15 p.m. to review the <br />police department's report and recommendations relative to a liquor/beer code compliance <br />violation. <br />The following establishment was found to have violated the City Liquor Code and penalties <br />were considered based on the City' s adopted Best Practices Grid: <br />Millers on Main (The Tavern on Main) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the results of the hearing, staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 13 -125 <br />that provides for a finding of violation and imposes a civil penalty. <br />
