Council <br />82 Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />83 <br />84 3B) 1st Reading of Ordinance No. 04 -12, Amending Chapters 701 and 702 of the Lino Lakes <br />85 City of Ordinances relating to Liquor and Beer, adding On -Sale Growler License — City Clerk <br />86 Bartell reported that based on direction from the City Council and with the assistance of the City <br />87 Attorney, staff has prepared an ordinance that adds a new type of liquor license to the city code. An <br />88 Off -Sale Growler license would allow either a State licensed brewery or a facility with an on -sale <br />89 liquor license to sell their brewed product. The product may only be packaged as "growlers ", which <br />90 is defined by state statute, and sales are governed under regular off -sale regulations. The fee for this <br />February 27, 2012 <br />Approved <br />Approved <br />Approved <br />Approved <br />Chief Streich noted that the resolution would allow him to work and speak with others in the area <br />about who provides ambulance services to the people of this city. Currently there is an ambulance <br />service that responds with fire services. The Fire District Steering Committee has discussed this <br />situation and is ready to move to serious discussion about who will best provide the services. The <br />mayor noted that he is a member of the Steering Committee and they have been discussing this topic <br />for some time. It moves into an area already impacting the Fire Department, that of providing <br />emergency services; he noted that this is still in an exploratory stage and the council is just <br />authorizing a process to allow further study. <br />2 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
