<br />It is important to note that these costs include only the streets in existence at the
<br />time the PMR was prepared. As the City continues to develop and grow,
<br />additional miles of local streets will be added which will increase both the
<br />reconstruction and maintenance costs going forward. These increased costs
<br />will be somewhat offset by contributions collected by the City from developers
<br />which fund the first sealcoat on a new street seven years from its acceptance by
<br />the City. These funds are deposited in the Sealcoating Fund and subsequently
<br />used to pay for the seal coating of streets.
<br />The total cost of the PMR is estimated to be $21,570,000 over the next ten years
<br />as shown in the table below.
