<br />3 Anticipated Costs The PMR included an estimate of the costs to maintain the City's streets over
<br />of Pavement the next ten years. These costs were divided into two categories, reconstruction
<br />Recommendations and maintenance. Reconstruction costs are related to those streets that have
<br />outlived their useful lives so that the pavement condition is in need of removal
<br />and replacement. The cost of the reconstruction projects through 2014 is
<br />estimated to be $17,500,000 and are proposed to begin in 2007. The estimate
<br />expenditures in year -of- construction dollars are as follows:
