• <br />• <br />Environmental <br />Memo <br />To: Paul Bengston <br />From: Marty Asleson <br />CC: Jeff Smyser /Mike Grochala <br />Date: April 5, 2005 <br />Re: Environmental Board recommendations /March 30, 2005 <br />Fairview Lino Lakes Clinic /Expansion <br />The Environmental Board met on April 30, 2005 and made the following <br />recommendations concerning the Fairview Clinic Expansion: <br />1. The tree preservation plan should indicate size and species of significant trees <br />on the plan. <br />2. Areas indicated as seeded should also be indicated as irrigated (assuming the <br />Seeded areas are cultural grass (Turf) seed. <br />3. All lighting should be flush mounted, recessed, "Shoebox- type" fixtures. <br />4. All monument lighting should be checked for conformance to the City <br />Guidelines. <br />5. Sugar maples on the West side of the building should be changed to <br />something more drought tolerant and adapted to sandy soils. Hackberry, red <br />maple, Locust, Ashares all appropriate substitutes. <br />6. A Storm water Pollution Prevention Plan must be submitted to the City and <br />reviewed by the City prior to construction. The plan must be available on site <br />(a described location) together with required inspection reports. The <br />Environmental Division of the City of Lino lakes should be supplied with a <br />copy of the Storm water pollution Prevention Plan. All initial SWPPP <br />elements must be installed before ground disturbance occurs. <br />Page 1 <br />-88- <br />
