• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 04 -05 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES TO DESIGNATE FORMER SC, SHOPPING CENTER DISTRICTS AS GB, <br />GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICTS AND ADDING SUBDIVISION 5 ADDRESSING <br />PLANNED DEVLEOPMENT OVERLAYS (PDO). <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does ordain: <br />SECTION 1. FINDINGS <br />The City Council makes the following findings regarding the amendment of the Lino <br />Lakes zoning ordinance: <br />1. The SC, Shopping Center district was eliminated with the adoption of <br />Ordinance 01 -03. <br />2. It was the intent that the SC, Shopping Center district be incorporated <br />into the GB, General Business district provisions. <br />3. The zoning ordinance does not specifically address provisions for <br />properties lying within a SC, Shopping Center district. <br />4. The zoning ordinance does not specifically address provisions for <br />properties formerly within a SC, Shopping Center district that has been <br />rezoned to PDO, Planned Development Overlay. <br />5. It is necessary to clarify existing ambiguities regarding the SC, <br />Shopping Center district. <br />
