Purpose. The purpose of the Manufactured Home Park District is to provide <br />opportunities for manufactured housing in a planned community. This <br />district is intended to provide opportunities for almost all types of <br />manufactured homes including those which may not be able to meet the <br />design standards established in other residential districts. All manufactured <br />Home Parks are required to conform to the provisions of this section and <br />other appropriate sections of the code. <br />f. "R -7" Manufactured Home Subdivision District: <br />Purpose. The purpose of this district is to provide opportunities for <br />manufactured housing for manufactured homes which meet the design <br />criteria established in this subdivision in subdivided developments, in safe, <br />attractive residential neighborhoods with all urban services and desired <br />amenities. <br />R -1, R -1X, R -2, R -3, R -4, R -6, R -7 <br />In the multiple and residential districts, the following requirements apply. <br />1. Residential Identification: One nameplate per residence, not more than two <br />(2) square feet per unit. <br />2. Institutional Identification Signs: Not more than one sign per street <br />frontage; one identification sign allowed per building; not more than thirty - <br />two (32) square feet; not higher than six (6) feet; <br />3. Area Identification Signs: Not more than twenty -four (24) square feet; not <br />higher than six (6) feet. <br />4. Advertising Signs: Advertising signs, as defined by Section II, Subd. F of <br />Ordinance, are prohibited in the R -1, R -1 X, R -3, R -4, R -6, R -7 Zoning <br />Districts. <br />5. No sign may be closer than ten (10) feet to any property line. <br />6. Each property with a residence may have one freestanding sign., temporary <br />or permanent. without a permit: maximum size 6 so ft. at least 10' from <br />property line This sign shall not advertise commercial activity that is not <br />allowed or conducted on same property as si.tm.
