In the process of assisting a new lawful 71 gambling organization, staff discovered that the gambling tax is incorrectly stated as 3% and is 72 recommending that the council approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 07 -11. 73 74 Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 07 -11 as presented. 75 Council Member Gallup seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. 76 77 3B) Lease Agreement Extension with Centennial School District No. 12 — City Administrator 78 Karlson reviewed the request for authorization to execute a one -year lease agreement for the early 79 childhood learning center space at city hall. The school district is in the process of assessing its space 80 needs, may consider a move from the building and is therefore only interested in a one -year 81 commitment. Staff will be reviewing the space in the meantime. The council requested that the 82 matter be added to the Weekly Progress Report so that the council can monitor the situation. 83 84 Council Member Rafferty moved to authorize execution of the lease agreement as presented. Council 85 Member Roeser seconded the motion.
