This access would <br />save trips by city staff to the county building in Anoka. There is no cost for use of the system. <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 11 -86 as presented. Council Member <br />O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />There was no Unfinished Business. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />The Mayor commented on the previous weekend's Blue Heron Days events. <br />This year's event was a great success and overall the event has continued to grow each year. Thank <br />you is in order to the people who make the event happen, including but not limited to, Lynn Bergman <br />with the Ambassador Program, Bill Combs who coordinates the parade, Victoria Hanson of the SMW <br />Credit Union who chaired the event his year, City Economic Development Coordinator Mary Divine <br />who organized the business expo, the CERT, Reserve and Explorer units of the Lino Lakes Police <br />Department for their volunteer service to the event, the Quad Chamber of Commerce and the Chain of <br />Lakes Rotary for sponsoring the event and finally to the Lino Lakes Environmental Board for their <br />clean up efforts. <br />COMMUNITY CALENDAR <br />Community Calendar- A Look Ahead <br />August 23, 2011 through September 12, 2011 <br />Wednesday, August 31 6:30 pm, Council Chambers Environmental Board <br />Thursday, September 1 8:00 am, Community Room EDAC <br />. Tuesday, September 6 5:30 pm, Community Room Council Work Session <br />Monday, September 12 6:30 pm, Council Chambers City Council Meeting <br />ADJOURN <br />There being no further business, Council Member Rafferty moved to adjourn at 7:00 p.m. Council <br />Member Gallup seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Upon adjournment of the regular meeting, the members of the council convened as the Lino Lakes <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA). <br />Upon adjournment of the EDA meeting, the council reconvened to a special work session to discuss <br />the 2012 city budget. <br />These minutes were considered and approved at the regular Council Meeting, September 12, 2011. <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />4 <br />
