• <br />• <br />EXHIBIT A <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS TASK FORCE <br />By -Laws <br />Under the authority vested by the City Council of Lino Lakes, the duties and structure of <br />the Development Regulations Task Force shall be as follows: <br />ARTICLE I. NAME OF TASK FORCE <br />The Task Force shall be called the Development Regulations Task Force, and will be <br />referred to as the DRTF throughout the remainder of this document. <br />ARTICLE II. PURPOSE AND POLICY <br />Section 1. Purpose <br />The purpose of the DRTF is to make recommendations to the City Council regarding <br />revisions to the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances based on the policies and goals set <br />forth in the 2001 Comprehensive Plan. <br />Section 2. Policies <br />The DRTF shall meet its purpose through the review of ordinance revisions prepared by <br />the City's planning consultant and City staff. In addition to the requirements set forth <br />herein the purpose shall be carried out in conformance with the following: <br />a. The review process shall be conducted within the timeline set forth by the <br />City Council. <br />b. The DRTF shall limit its review to the ordinance revisions based on the <br />goals and policies of the Comprehensive Plan. Modification of the <br />Comprehensive Plan is outside the scope of the DRTF purpose. <br />c. Recommendation of revisions shall be decided by a simple majority vote <br />as more clearly defined in Article V. <br />d. The DRTF shall provide the council with a bi- monthly status report <br />indicating task force accomplishments in accordance with the prescribed <br />schedule. In the event that progress has not been made, the DRTF shall <br />provide reasons for such delays. <br />Section 3. Range of Action <br />The DRTF shall serve as an advisory group, and shall make its recommendations directly <br />• to the City Council on all matters. <br />Draft <br />01/08/02 <br />
