f. Water Circulation <br />For Lakes: the existence and locations of strong currents, <br />inlets, and large water level fluctuations. <br />For Rivers and Streams: velocity and water level fluctuations. <br />g. <br />Water level fluctuation is moderate. The recorded range in water level change is 9.65 ft. <br />An outlet dam in SW corner of the lake holds water on an average water level of 189.69 <br />feet. <br />Natural and artificial obstructions or hazards to navigation, <br />including but not limited to points, bars, rocks, stumps, weed <br />beds, docks, piers, dams, diving platforms, and buoys. <br />The entire northen portion of the lake is shallow and filled with submergent vegetation. <br />There is a row of posts set into the lake by the St. Paul Water Utility to contain the <br />floating cattail mats within the north part of the lake. Private docks and swimming <br />platforms occur along the SE shore. A stop log outlet dam is located in the SW corner <br />of the lake. A fishing pier is located on the SW shore. <br />h. Regional relationship -- the locations and the level of <br />recreational use of other water bodies in the area. <br />Public boat launch sites are available in the park on Marshan Lake, E. Centerville Lake <br />and a walk -in launch is available on George Watch Lake. <br />2.Existing development. <br />a. Private -- to include number, location, and occupancy <br />characteristics of permanent homes, seasonal homes, apartments, <br />planned unit developments, resorts, marinas, campgrounds, and <br />other residential, commercial, and industrial uses. <br />Private permanent houses occur along the SE shore in Centerville and on the east <br />central shore in the Peltier View subdivision in Lino Lakes. The remaining shore is in <br />agricultural use or undeveloped within the boundaries of the Rice Creek Chain of <br />Lakes Country Park. No industrial or commercial development occurs, there are no <br />marinas or resorts on Iakeshore. <br />b. Public -- to include type, location, size, facilities, and <br />parking capacity of parks, beaches, and watercraft launching <br />facilities. <br />One public fishing pier and one boat launch public water access on SW end of <br />lake operated by Anoka County Parks. Capacity fewer than 25 cars. <br />3.0wnership of shoreland -- to include the location and managing <br />governmental unit of shoreline in federal, state, county, or city <br />ownership as well as private semi - public, or corporate lands. <br />65 percent of the shoreland on northeast, north, west or southwest shore is owned by Anoka <br />County as Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park. <br />4.
