• <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION APRIL 17, 2002 <br />City Planner Smyser noted the sections that will be distributed are for review and <br />information only. No action will be necessary until some point in the future. <br />Mayor Bergeson asked how the approved sections should be distributed to the various <br />City Boards. Community Development Director Grochala stated he believes the <br />approved sections should be distributed in the same manner as it is distributed to the <br />Council. <br />CITY ENGINEER'S UPDATE ON CURRENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, <br />JIM STUDENSKI <br />City Engineer Studenski stated he would like to keep the Council more informed on <br />current projects. He commented on the following projects within the City: <br />• Road restrictions — road restrictions were lifted on Monday. <br />• Lake Drive & Apollo Drive — the project is currently underway. <br />• Holte Pond — a confirmation letter was received and the hearing is set for May 8. <br />He noted he spent the day with the Holte's and have explained to them what is <br />going to happen. <br />• City Engineer Studenski stated he will continue to keep the Council informed on these <br />projects and other projects within the City. <br />• <br />Councilmember Carlson asked when Lake Drive will be completed. City Engineer <br />Studenski stated Lake Drive will be completed at the end of June or beginning of July. <br />The opening dates for Target have been set for July 17 (soft opening) and July 23 and 24 <br />(scheduled opening). He stated the City is ahead of the opening schedule and Target has <br />been attending the meetings every Monday. Target is very aware of the construction <br />schedule for Lake Drive. <br />Councilmember Carlson inquired about the McDonalds building. Community <br />Development Director Grochala stated construction on the building should start either <br />tomorrow or next week. <br />REGULAR AGENDA, APRIL 22, 2002 <br />Item 4A — Consider Resolution No. 02 — 35, Establishing Precinct Boundaries, Polling <br />Places and Adding Two New Precincts and Polling Places Effective September 10, 2002 <br />— Councilmember Carlson requested a more detailed map of the boundaries that includes <br />the names of local streets. <br />Item 7A — Consider Resolution No. 02 — 34, Denying CUP, Bald Eagle Contracting — <br />Councilmember Carlson requested a copy of the minutes regarding this issue from the <br />Planning and Zoning Board meeting. <br />
