Hartley <br />A- <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota <br />Date: May 1, 2002 Commission No. 12475 -002 <br />The following documents, submitted April 23, 2002, to the City of Lino Lakes, were used to <br />review the Raske Building Systems, Inc. site plan: <br />Rice Creek Watershed District submittal dated September 13, 2001 <br />Rice Creek Watershed District submittal dated April 11, 2002 <br />Grading Plan C -2 dated September 10, 2001, and signed April 4, 2002 <br />After reviewing the above documents, I have the following comments: <br />1. In the April 11, 2002, letter to Rice Creek Watershed District, it is stated that the west <br />pond on parcel "E” was designed as part of the 1992 Apollo Drive Project. The west <br />pond is not an existing pond, but an old borrow pit. The City has no objection to this pit <br />being turned into a pond, but it is the developer's engineer's responsibility to show the <br />pond will work. <br />2. The west pond was reanalyzed at the request of Rice Creek Watershed District according <br />to the April 11, 2002 letter. In this letter the maximum flood elevation is given as <br />900.84 feet. This elevation will need to be used as the High Water Elevation on the <br />grading plan. <br />3. What is the High Water Elevation of the proposed sedimentation basin on the Raske <br />Building Systems, Inc. site? This elevation will need to be shown on the grading plan. <br />4. The proposed parking lot drains to a single curb cut in the southwest corner of the <br />parking lot. This curb put is too close to the outlet of the sedimentation basin and will <br />need to be moved to the east end of the basin. <br />An Equal Opportunity Employer <br />
