• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-74 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM <br />THE CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT FOR KITE DAY <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial Fire District supports the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation <br />Department and: <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department held its seventh annual Kite Day <br />on June 1, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the event is free to the families of Lino Lakes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial Fire District was made aware of the event and the desire of the <br />Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department to conduct Kite Day with the support of a program <br />sponsor and has donated $400 to the City to defer the cost of this event. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, the <br />Council accepts the Centennial Fire District's donation of $400 to help finance Kite Day and <br />wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Centennial Fire District for its <br />donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of July, 2002. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ann Blair, Clerk - Treasurer <br />
