MEETING DATE:
TOPIC:
VOTE:
BACKGROUND
AGENDA ITEM 7 B
Jeff Smyser
August 12, 2002
Resolution No. 02 -87
Final Plat, Royal Pines
K -G Development
3/5
Royal Pines is a 13 -lot single family residential development on the northwest corner of
12t Ave. and Holly Drive. The City Council approved the preliminary plat with
Resolution 01 -120 in August 2001. At that time, the project was owned by Land Holding
Group. The project has since been purchased by K -G Development. The change in
ownership resulted in postponement of final plat approval for several months. The City's
requirements now have been fulfilled and the project is ready for approval.
The City has several requirements for final plat approval:
1. Final plat must substantially conform to approved preliminary plat.
2. Development agreement, including financial securities.
3. Title information approved by City Attorney.
4. Conditions of approval (preliminary plat approval) must be met.
The submitted final plat conforms to the preliminary plat. The development agreement
was completed and site work is underway. The City Attorney has reviewed the title. The
conditions of approval are either completed or addressed in the development agreement.
OPTIONS
1. Approve Resolution 02 -87.
2. Return to staff with direction.
RECOMMENDATION
Option 1
